What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. This weekend I spent my Friday at the Radison Hotel near LAX at a teacher's meeting. On Saturday, my sister and I drove up to Delano, California to surprise my mom for Valentine's day. We took her out to see the movie "From Paris With Love" and out to dinner at Olive Garden. On Sunday, my roommates and I all went out to a restaurant called "Villa Sorriso" in Pasadena for a Valentine's day dinner. On Monday, we took our dog Jack for a long walk at Venice beach.

Warm Up:
1. Open MS Publisher.
2. Set the orientation to LANDSCAPE.
3. Insert a 10 x 12 table (That's 10 rows and 12 columns just in case you forgot!)
4. Put BORDERS around each box in the table
5. Make a checkerboard pattern in this table using 2 different colors.
6. Save as CHECKERBOARD pattern.
7. Now, delete 4 columns and 2 tables so that it becomes an 8x8 table.
